I gained a lot of knowledge and confidence regarding contact lenses. I did a lot of contact lens fits everyday as well as lots of troubleshooting for unsatisfied patients. You get a real world experience. Personally, I did not like contacts at all while at ICO and was nervous about this rotation but I am loving it Dr. Popovic is absolutely fantastic. She was very helpful with my transition into the rotation as well with educating me during my time there. I really appreciate her patience as it can be a bit overwhelming when you first start. Dr. Popovic is also very personable, honest, and open so do not be afraid to ask her anything. She showed me corporate optometry from every angle, good and bad.
I am much more confident in my skills after working with her. This was a great rotation, best one so far!
