Student Review
"Valley Eye Associates was a great externship site. I felt very welcome there by the doctors and staff and everyone was very helpful. I encountered a wide variety of conditions and the doctors did a great job of answering questions. I was able to work with about 9 optometrists and 2 ophthalmologists. I really enjoyed working with someone different every day because they each had their own areas of interest. At first I was worried that it would be hard getting used to so many different attendings, but it was not an issue. Valley Eye is an advanced care site, and it definitely fit that description. There were also a decent number of specialty contact lens cases due to all of the keratoconus patients that Dr. Vrabec has. I also had the opportunity to observe cataract surgeries, refractive surgeries, and a DMAEK. I would definitely recommend Valley Eye as an externship site. I think it would be hard to find somewhere else with such a great clinical experience."
