Student Review
"If I could spend my entire year at this site I wouldn't think twice! The learning environment was second to none, all of the preceptors are very educated and are constantly reading up on the newest and latest advances in eye care. They are there with a primary objective of making you a better clinician, not just "how many patients can you see" (although efficiency is important). At this site you will encounter a large variety of disease conditions including tons of AMD, glaucoma, Fuch's, Uveitis, Dry eye, BRVO's, corneal ulcers, and more. The docs encourage you to manage the patients as though there was no preceptor, you may preform whatever tests you feel necessary and order any additional tests as you please. You definitely feel like a colleague rather than a student at this site!"
