Description
Discontinued prior to 06/2021.
Our clinic offers a wide variety of patient encounters – we are a group practice that has been in existence for 30 years, and includes seasoned as well as more recent graduates. This diversity of clinicians has given our students a broad exposure to various schools of thought and treatments. Most of our students are surprised by the level of disease diagnosis and management in our office and are pleased by the amount of opportunity with contact lens examinations.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
Students should leave with a better understanding of how to operate a successful practice.
Expand student understanding of contact lens evaluations, including growing your ability to put the patient in the proper lens to suit their demands.
Increase ability to diagnose and treat ocular disease including glaucoma, pre and post op cataract, macular degeneration, BRVO, CRVO, BRAO, CRAO, foreign body removal, conjunctivitis, uveitis, dry eye syndrome (including punctul plug insertion) and other conditions.

Student Review
"This site has so much more than what is expected. There are plenty of patient exams; a variety of comprehensive exams and office visits/medical visits. Many soft lens fittings and a handful of specialty lens fittings. There was an unexpected volume of disease patients, which was a pleasant surprise"
