"This rotation exceeded my expectations, I consistently saw more patients in one days time than I would see in one month during my third year rotation at ICO. I quickly learned how to become efficient with my refraction skills and overall patient management. I was able to enhance my knowledge and confidence of fitting patients in various types of soft contact lenses by consistently fitting patients on a daily basis. The doctors and staff that I had the opportunity to work with were very kind and always made you feel like you were apart of the team, not just a temporary extern. I learned so much more than I could have anticipated in both a clinical setting as well as how a successful private practice is run and how to manage all types of patients."
