Student Review
"This was an amazing site and I had an incredible experience here. It is a super busy clinic, which provides many opportunities to see a wide variety of cases. You get to work up your patients from the beginning of the exam to the end, which I found this helpful for Part 3 preparation. It is a huge practice with 5 offices but you spend most of your time at the Mishawaka office. The office uses NexGen for EHR so it was a nice transition from IEI. Everyone is super nice and helpful. Anytime an interesting case or rare ocular disease is in the office the docs make a specific point to bring you in so you can get a good look at it. The office is fully equipped, all exam lanes have everything you need so you don’t have to bring anything! The practice is an ophthalmology practice so everything is in plus cylinder, this was probably one of the biggest things I had to adjust to."
They are also a fully equipped dry eye clinic. They have all dry eye testing equipment including LipiView and LipiFlow. The doc that mostly handles the dry eye cases is in the main office 1-2 days a week so you get a good amount of experience with the more complex dry eye work ups."
