Student Review

I loved this site. This private practice has a wide spectrum of different conditions encountered daily. I was able to see lots of contact lens related exams as well as pediatrics and vision therapy which were my three main areas I was hoping to encounter the most. You get a handful of emergency visits and do lots of dry eye management. And both doctors also get lots of developmental disability patients and early intervention patients. If you are looking to sharpen up your BIO, 78/90 skills I would say this is not the place only because the majority of patients choose to get photos done over dilation. This practice utilizes LOTS of current technology (cameras on every slit lamp, Optomap, Lipiscan, Bleph X, Lipiflow, Electrodiagnostics, VF, OCT, VTS 4, SANET). The Vision therapy that this practice provides isn’t the old school VT that you think of and instead is very technology forward and really fun.  You are also expected to do your own coding but they will teach you/help you your entire time there. Overall a great site!
