Student Review

If you are interested in ocular disease, THIS IS YOUR SITE! The preceptors are great and invested in your education. You get to shadow the neuro-ophthalmologist and genetic retina specialist from time to time and will learn a lot about obscure systemic diseases. You will definitely be exposed to a good amount of peds (from aphakic babies to ocular albinism) since Dr. Sanders is a pediatric optometrist. She is very patient and will teach you to tolerate (if not love) peds. There is also an opportunity to dabble in speciality contacts and you get to fit sclerals and RGP  with Dr. Piery.
