Student Review

"Dr. Carlson and the other doctors were great. I enjoyed working in an OD/MD office and learned a lot about the management of dry eyes and pre and post operative care for refractive and cataract surgeries. I was able to observe LASIK and PRK, cataract, retinal and glaucoma surgeries.

This was an amazing site. This was a great learning experience for me because I learned a lot about how to counsel patients when making decisions regarding premium lenses and the types of conditions that disqualify patients from certain IOLs, this is something that we don't get to learn a lot about at ICO due to the patient population. I enjoyed working through the LASIK calculations I learned a lot about severe dry eye disease management and how useful the LipiFlow is in a dry environment."
