In Focus Eyecare has three progressive, full scope practices in Southwestern Ontario, including two locations in Sarnia. Our busy practices have laser imaging (Optos and OCT), specialty Aesthetics & Dry Eye, our AMD Center of Excellence as well as Myopia Control.
Our main location at 1206 Lakeshore Road would be the main location but the student may be expected to work out of the other location at times too.
Objectives:
1. Become more efficient with comprehensive exams. Goal would be 30-minute full exams including dilation.
2. Learn how to lifestyle dispense – targeted to patients’ needs
3. Become familiar with the business side of operating a private practice.

First day will be orienting themselves with the clinic, team embers, processes/policies, and flow of the clinic. Then shadowing before starting with new patients.
