Student Review

My expectations for this rotation were actually exceeded. From previous reviews I was prepared to only be doing refractions and undilated 90 on every patient, but because of Dr. Mohan at the East Hastings location in Van I got to dilate EVERY patient. Dr. Mohan spent a good chunk of time teaching me billing and coding and how best to be paid for all the services we offer. He was also great at teaching and testing my knowledge of ocular disease on the spot which helped with boards part 2 studying.

Dr. Nacher Mohan was awesome! I learned a lot about anterior and posterior segment disease. He was very approachable and was always willing to help. He took every opportunity he could to teach, help me and guide me on how to become a better doctor. He will treat you like family and will make sure that you are successful and love your job. He makes you feel very comfortable. He is a very good teacher, doctor, and a very humble individual.
