"The site definitely helps improve your efficiency. You learn how to do a binocular vision exam in a short amount of time, and get some exposure to the vision therapy side as well as observing traumatic brain injury cases. You will get to do some anterior segment, but no 78/90D or BIO.
The vision therapy portion was very educational. There were 2 half days a week that we were exposed to vision therapy, and each therapist had their own way of doing things. I got to learn how to do developmental visual analyses and on some days, I was able to do VT with some patients ourselves. All therapists were welcoming, eager to teach and allow you to participate in the activities."
