Commercial optometry site practicing in primary care. We see a lot of underserved patients and help them with glasses and contacts. Because we see an underserved population, we get a lot of ocular disease patients too.

This is an outstanding site for students to gain confidence in their refracting skills and patient interactions. They will learn to be efficient and treat a lot of anterior segment disease.

Objectives

• Treatment and diagnosis of anterior segment disease.

• Undilated 90D skills.

• Properly identify and correctly manage posterior segment disease. Learn when to monitor and when to refer.
