"This site exceeded my expectations in terms of learning vision therapy for both neurotypical patients and patients with developmental delays. I also got to work with lots of TBI patients and some stroke patients. It was such a great experience working with these types of patients since I really did not get the chance elsewhere to do so. I also got the opportunity to work with scleral patients independently (unique circumstances, the one preceptor that managed these scleral patients took a leave of absence) but I ended up loving it and feel WAY more confident in my ability to treat and manage patients with specialty contact lenses. Overall I feel like I have learned so many new things in the neuro-optometry field that will help me in managing these types of patients in the future. All in all a great site for people interested in neuro-optometry and vision therapy. You also get a chance to work with all of the emergencies that come in so I saw a ton of interesting anterior segment conditions."
