DISCONTINUED SITE - NO LONGER AVAILABLE AFTER SPRING 2025.
Stand-alone 6500 sf. medical building in hospital area in beautiful high desert/alpine community at 7000 feet with excellent options for outdoor activities. Three full time OD's with clinical focus on dry eye (including IPL), minor surgery, glaucoma and specialty contact lenses, LASIK and cataract co-management. New Mexico has one of the best scope of practice laws in the country. Observation with a retinal surgeon and for minor surgical procedures is possible.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
Expand clinical skills- diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional
Learn time and patient management skills in a fast-paced office with a complex caseload.
Gain knowledge in the business aspect of practice - billing and coding, EMR, interprofessional and staff relations.
